BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
The Business Administration program covers the integration of and interrelationship among the functional areas of business as well as sensitivity to the economic, social, technological, legal and the international environment in which business must operate.
Beyond imparting basic business knowledge, the program aims to instill and nurture important qualities and skills in students that are essential for future business leadership and organizational success. It is an interdisciplinary and problem-focused program comprised of three (3) integrated elements: basic business, business core and professional courses.
Each business major consists of courses designed to develop the critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal communication, quantitative, and computer skills needed by the graduates to successfully serve as leaders in business organizations.
The program also addresses contemporary organizational issues such as global competition, continuous quality improvement, good governance, and the relationship between organizations and various organizational forces which are key components of global economy.
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program offers two major areas namely Financial Management and Marketing Management. The program is designed to create highly competent managers who will be ready to face the challenges of the business industry with strong managerial skills and strategic decision-making capability. The objective of the program is not simply to impart basic business knowledge, but to instill and nurture important qualities and skills in students that are essential for future business leadership and organizational success.
Tytana recognizes the need to create graduates who are fit for the industry requirements. Through its industry-based curriculum, the BSBA program develops the students in the integrated and functional areas of business. They are trained to develop their competencies in the economic, social, technological, legal and international environment in which businesses must operate. Adjunct professors are regularly invited to share real life applicability of the theories and concepts that they are learning. This strengthen the learning of the students because lectures are enhanced with the sharing of experts from their actual practices. Real idea cases are also provided to develop the student`s capacity in decision making and strategy formulation in all levels of management.
With the strategic place of the school in the Metro Bank Group of Companies, BSBA students are also well exposed in various industries such as Metrobank, PS Bank, First Metro Investment Corporation, Orix Metro Leasing and Finance Corporation, Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation, and Global Business Power Corporation to name a few. This provides them a first-hand glimpse on the actual business workd and may even open doors of future employment for them. Students also undergo a strong Business Internship Program with the Metro Bank group and other partner companies to provide them real life experiences in management.
